All workshops are accessible and can be tailored to your specific needs, including session duration, subject matter and specific participant needs. Music equipment is always provided by us and can be set up in any venue.
LYRICS LAB
Learn the art of lyric writing. Whether you're crafting raw rap verses or ear catching choruses, you'll learn the skills needed to take your wordsmith abilities to the next level.
BUILD A SONG IN A DAY
Ever wondered how to complete a full song, start to finish? In this full day workshop we'll go through the whole process, from writing lyrics to recording them on a backing track. You'll take the role of music director, lyricist, producer, vocalist, session musician and more. The key to building a track in a day is team work.
BEATBOX BASICS
Discover the power of the human mouth, the instrument that everyone is born with. Learn how to master the basics of beatbox to create bassy beats and vocal rhythms. Take it a step further with loop station technology and become your own drummer, bassist and FX unit, solely using your mouth and mic.
POWERFUL POETRY
Become the Picasso of words. In this workshop you will harness the magic of literacy to paint pictures through words, rhyme schemes and poetic devices. Fancy a bit of competition? We can host a poetry slam at your school or venue to showcase all of your powerful poetry and add a hint of healthy competition.
SOUND ME A STORY
Re-imagine your favourite story books through sound and technology. Use your trusty imagination and the genius of the Sound-Story-Simulator to recreate stories. The simulator is made up of a complex connection of FX pads, loop stations, keyboards, digital instruments and iPad apps, to create a sensory machine which blends sonics together to form intricate soundscapes. Get ready to leave earth and journey with sound.

BRING THE BEAT
Team building with a difference!
Bring The Beat is an energy filled music session which is sure to boost team spirit and healthy competition within the workplace. Percussion is at the heart of the session, using hand drums, electrical drum kits and beat-box to build head-bopping beats.
Through out the session you will explore live drumming and recorded vocal samples, using looping and FX technology to create your own beats. The whole time you will be in the safe hands of experienced music practitioners who will teach you the basics of creating beats along with some catchy drum patterns. You will experience playing together as an empowered and unified group, as well as splitting into smaller bands for the grand finale.
The session ends in a heated head to head competition. Who can create the best beat? Work as a band to create a live performance using your drumming knowledge and why not add lyrics to the mix? The best team wins the golden prize.
